At ‘Little Heroes’ First Aid kids, we believe that every child has the potential to be a hero. Our fun and interactive First Aid Training program is specially designed for children aged 5 to 11, giving them the skills and confidence to help in real-life emergencies. We offer programs for age groups 5-7 & 8-11 years old.
We don’t just teach kids what to do—we help them believe they can make a difference & give
them the confidence to care..
Through hands-on practice, games, storytelling, and age-appropriate activities, children learn
how to:
● Call for help in an emergency
● Check if someone is responsive
● Perform basic CPR and chest compressions (Age appropriate)
● Stop bleeding and care for minor injuries
● Stay calm and act safely in emergencies

🕐 Program Overview
Audience: Children aged 5–7 with their parent/guardian
Duration: 3 Hours (including short breaks)
Goal: Teach children and parents essential first aid skills together in a safe, fun,
hands-on environment.

Little Heroes First Aid kids Training – 7 Week Program
Our 7-week First Aid program empowers children with essential safety and emergency response
skills in a way that’s fun, memorable, and age-appropriate. Each session builds on the last, using
storytelling, games, role-playing, and real-world practice to help kids retain what they learn.
Age Group: 5–11 years
Duration: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks plus final graduation week
Format: Hands-on, play-based, and interactive learning
Location: Suitable for schools, clubs, or after-school programs (ECA)
Week 1: Meet Your Inner Hero – What Is First Aid?
● Introduction to First Aid and what it means to be a “Little Hero”
● Understanding different types of emergencies (big vs. small)
● Learning how to stay safe (personal safety, don’t be a superhero alone)
● Fun game: “Hero or Not?” decision-making activity
Take-home: Hero Helper Certificate + Emergency Contacts Sheet
Week 2: Help Is on the Way – Calling Emergency Services
● How to identify an emergency
● When and how to call 1669 (role-playing with toy phones)
● What to say to the emergency operator
● Practicing address recall and location descriptions

Week 3: Stop, Think & Act – Basic Response Steps
● Introduction to Stop, Think & Act – Your safety is number 1
● How to check if someone is conscious
● Tap the collarbone or pinch the arm response test (safe and gentle version)
● Game: First Aid obstacle course (practice response steps)
Take-home: Step by step guide/illustration for Stop, Think & Act & test responsiveness
Week 4: Bumps, Bruises & Bleeding – What to Do?
● How to treat minor cuts, scrapes, and nosebleeds
● Hands-on practice: bandaging a teddy or class friend
● Using pressure and calm words to help others
● Hygiene: Why clean hands matter (gloves, wipes, sanitizer)
Take-home: Mini First Aid Kit Assembly Guide
Week 5: CPR Superstars – Chest Compressions & Safety
● What CPR is and when it’s used (non-scary explanation)
● Chest compression basics using child-friendly manikins or CPR dolls
● The beat of “Stayin’ Alive” or “Baby Shark” for rhythm
● Emphasising safety: When adults are not available
Take-home: Step by step guide to open airway and start compressions
Week 6: Real-Life Heroes – Review & Graduation
● Review of all the skills learned
● Role-play real-life emergency situations in teams
● Confidence-building Q&A and group challenge
● Graduation Ceremony with certificates
